When OnCheckin deploys your ASP.Net website we place a holding page up before we begin to ensure that anyone accessing your website while it is being deployed doesn’t have a bad experience. We do this by placing an App_Offline.htm file in your website root folder.

When you are using an OnCheckin FREE account you cannot change this file, as the logo and advertising placed on the holding page helps us cover the costs of offering the FREE accounts.

By upgrading to any of the paid accounts you can specify your own App Offline file by placing an HTML file in your website root directory and naming it “App_Offline-template.htm”. If we find this file we will use it in place of the OnCheckin default App Offline file.

Please ensure that you adhere to usual rules for App_Offline.htm files by not linking to or referencing any files in your website from within the file, as these will fail.
