When you connect your account to Github or Bitbucket we use OAuth 2.0 federated security to connect to your account.

This allows us to authenticate you against 3rd party integrations without requiring us to store your username and password. This also allows you to revoke OnCheckin’s access to your account at any time by simply logging into your Github or Bitbucket account and modifying our access.
